Mallow Heritage Centre Online service is now operating - access through www.corknortheast.brsgenealogy.com. This site is part of the Irish Genealogical Online Record Search System (ORS), a national initiative organised by the Irish Family History Foundation.

This site contains the largest collection of Parish records for Co. Cork (North & East) that are searchable online. The complete indexes, listing surname, first name, and year are yours to search freely. To view a detailed record you can purchase credit online for instant access.
Mallow Heritage Centre holds the records of the Diocese of Cloyne, forty-six parishes out of the one hundred and twenty parishes within the county of Cork and have computerised records of 1901 and 1911 Census Records, Tithe Applotment Records, Griffith's Valuation records and some graveyard inscriptions - over 3,000,000 record entries on their database, the third largest record database in Ireland. Copies of the baptismal and marriage records of each parish up to 1880 can be found on microfilm in the National Library of Ireland on a parish-by-parish basis. Individuals can access these records on receiving permission free of charge by contacting the Heritage Centre in Mallow. This permission can be received by mail.
