The parish of Mourneabbey, Mallow, was the setting on Sun. June 22nd.,
for the Ordination of Fr. Sean Corkery for the Diocese of Cloyne. A great community
gathering was joined by family and friends of Fr. Sean as Bishop Magee, accompanied
by Bishop Patrick O'Donoghue of the Diocese of Lancaster, England, a native
of Mourneabbey, conducted the Ceremony of Ordination. Many priests from the
Diocese of Cloyne and beyond also participated.

Fr. Sean is the son of John and Mary Corkery of Mourneabbey. He has one sister,
Trish, and two brothers, Dan and Brendan.
