Youth Services
School Retreats Fr. Bryan Boyle is working with the Youth Services
staff in offering school retreats. There are very limited spaces open on the
team schedule. If you wish to enquire about booking a day for your students
please call Mary at 025-32455. Retreats
/workshop based days are also available through a consultancy set up in the
Diocese led by the former Director of the Youth Service, Elizabeth who can be

A resource
pack containing justice activities for use with young people in the
classroom is now available. Diocesan Resources
including books, text and reference materials are available through the
Fermoy network group based in Loreto Secondary School, Fermoy. To access the
resources call Liam O’ Mahony or Sr. Ide at 025-32124. Support Networks
Catechists & Chaplains in the
Midleton and Fermoy areas who are interested in meeting with others who are
working in their have attended Network meetings hosted by the CBS, Midleton and

Diocesan Youth Services
The Diocesan Youth Service is currently working with developing 20 groups in the region. Aisling Mc Loughlin is the rural development officer who is working with rural communities focused in the Avondhu region. She can be contacted at the Fermoy office 025-32455. Community Youth Projects in Mallow, Midleton and Fermoy offer homework groups, small group activities and liaise with the youth services to provide support for parish based groups. Project for Young Men
MS. Sarah Adkins has recently
been employed by the Diocesan Youth Services to run an intervention programme
for young men in the Mallow area. Sarah is a UCC graduate and has begun working
with 2 designated groups in the town. For information on the project Sarah can
